Bio:
Dr. Chase Cookson is an adjunct faculty member that teaches business courses focused on management, organizational behavior, ethics, leadership, and communication. He brings a broad professional background that includes consulting, business development, employee training, quality management, compliance, organizational improvement, and leadership.
Across his career, Dr. Cookson has worked with organizations and teams on strategy, operations, training, process improvement, assessment, and evidence-informed decision-making. His experience includes managing and developing employees, coordinating large recruitment and sales teams, designing learning and training programs, advising organizations on compliance and quality systems, and helping leaders translate goals into practical action. He has also held leadership and teaching roles in higher education, giving him a useful perspective on both workplace practice and student learning.
In his courses, Dr. Cookson focuses on helping students connect business ideas to the real situations they may encounter as employees, managers, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. He emphasizes systems thinking, ethical reasoning, practical problem solving, and the ability to make thoughtful decisions in complex organizations. His teaching style is grounded in the belief that business education should do more than simply prepare students to succeed professionally; it should help students make thoughtful, responsible decisions that strengthen the organizations and communities they serve.
